Les Hauts de Locmiquel, large holiday home with park and swimming pool in the Gulf of Morbihan

For an unforgettable holiday or short break in Brittany, in a very preserved environment in the heart of the Gulf of Morbihan Regional Natural Park, on the heights of Locmiquel beach and Toulvern pond, our estate welcomes you with its large holiday home, its heated swimming pool in season (from May to early October) and covered by a veranda, and its very large wooded park (2 ha). An independent T2 apartment for a couple with or without children is also available on the ground floor with its terrace and view of the park.

Perfect for nature lovers and families, the park is located 900 m from Locmiquel beach and the most beautiful coastal paths of the Gulf of Morbihan (GR34) which will take you on one side to the Pointe de Locmiquel, the Pointe de Toulvern and the magnificent beach of Sept Iles, on the other side, to the Pointe du Berchis, Larmor Baden and its port.

It is an ideal starting point for hiking, cruising on the Gulf, or visiting sites such as Ile aux Moines, Carnac, Quiberon, Vannes, Auray, etc.

Also enjoy horse riding, golf or tennis, or take a sailing course in the sheltered Gulf of St. Lawrence (independent clubs 5 minutes away). See our "Activities nearby" page for more details.

In the evening, you can admire the sunset over the park (very late in summer), from the south and west facing terrace.

The relaxation and outdoor dining facilities are at your disposal for your rest and taste pleasures.

The swimming pool is heated in season, from May to the beginning of October.

In spring 2025, we will welcome sheep in eco-grazing in the park, for an even more serene atmosphere.

The entire house has 5 bedrooms, it can accommodate up to 14 people maximum, but is also very suitable for a group of 6 to 8 adults with their children for example.

We are labeled Clévacances 4 keys for 12 people, and Gites de France 3 épis for 10 people, a guarantee of quality because the house is audited by these 2 well-known organizations in France. The number of people differs due to the different criteria of these organizations.

From spring 2025, the house can be divided into 2 parts:

- New separate 2-room apartment on the ground floor of 42 m2, with new independent kitchen-dining room opening onto the terrace with a view of the park and the large bedroom on the ground floor with its large bathroom and shower

- The rest of the house without the ground floor apartment, so with the 4 bedrooms upstairs and the 2 bathrooms upstairs and 2 toilets, the large living room and large dining room, the large kitchen. With a new terrace in 2025 in front of the living room windows, so that each of the 2 parts of the house has its own large terrace.

In very high season (May/June, July-August long weekends), priority is given to renting the entire house.

Outside of high season, the 2 parts of the house can be rented separately, potentially to 2 different families. In this case, the swimming pool and the park will be shared, the terraces will be neighbors.The partition between the apartment and the main living room of the house is doubled as an acoustic partition, the door separating the 2 dwellings is also a landing door ensuring acoustic privacy. Parties are not allowed in this configuration in order to preserve everyone's peace and quiet.

Outside of peak season, there is a good chance that the apartment will be available for a couple without the rest of the house being rented, in which case you will have the pool and the park all to yourselves! Especially if you book shortly in advance, do not hesitate to ask us what is the situation.

For your safety, the fireplace is currently not usable, thank you for your understanding. The house is perfectly heated with geothermal underfloor heating, DPE C.
